RGF is global.

I’m assuming that recently, WordPress added a Global site stats option. Only because I’ve never seen that before. But hello to Indonesia, Greece, Russia, Romania, New Zealand, Ukraine, Canada, Israel, and the United Kingdom visitors – I see you! 🙂 Thank you for visiting – I find it truly amazing that my blog can be viewed from thousands of miles away.

Currently Obsessed: February.

1. With 10 locations around the country, Sprinkles Cupcakes has got to be the most moist and decadent cupcake I have ever had in my life! And I’m a total cupcake lover/baker myself. Flavors from Banana, Ginger Lemon, Red Velvet (personal fave, EVER), and all the way to Pumpkin make their way through the store and vary through the week. Their frosting on the cupcake is to die for.

2. Bloomspot is another site just like LivingSocial and Groupon. I love their website design, it’s got a wonderful and up-to-date style that makes you want to be on it and shop. Not to mention, the deals are quite the steal and written with a stunning description. Pure poetry!

3. BaubleBar, oh how I love thee. Let me count the ways! I recently discovered BaubleBar from a picture that Kasey from The Nest Co. recently posted. I googled BaubleBar because I was quite curious on where she got her necklace from. L-O-V-E! After joining, you instantly get a $10 credit towards your first purchase to your liking of necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings and even for that special man in your life! This is the best way, I believe, to build your jewelry collection – hassle free. They source from the same designers that your local high-end department store sources from, without the mark-up. Not to mention, they’ll keep you around with Buried Bauble, The Vault, and special member discounts! Interested? Join **REVIEW COMING SOON**

4. Glitter. I don’t care what color, as long as it’s on my nails. It’s become the finishing touch to my manicures with a glitter topcoat!

5. Natural Life Chip Clips are the cutest chip clips, ever. Made with stained wood, painted art, and some rhinestone bling – being organized has never looked so cute!

It’s my favorite week!

New York Fashion Week!

I have always dreamed about attending a New York Fashion Week show. Preferably Chanel, Kate Spade, or Alexander Wang. Beggars can’t be choosers, as my mom always said. Thankfully, social media and the internet has made attendance a LITTLE more possible by seeing the runway photos almost instantly.

Deborah Lloyd, the President and Creative Director of Kate Spade, was inspired by Palais Royale in Paris. Jeweled Peter Pan collars, polka-dotted Deborah Lippman manicures, and vivid colors..Très chic!

Pottery Barn Knock-Off: Love Art

Where have I been? Everywhere but on WordPress. In the weeks that I was gone, I’ve managed to turn half of my hair into blonde, officially get my college degree and let ‘le job’ take control of me. Plus, I’ve had Bloggers Block! I plan to make a full recovery and be more focused now that I’ve got school completely. out. of. the. WAY!

One of my biggest guilty pleasures is Pottery Barn. I love it. There’s something about that classic/country/romantical style that makes me feel like I’m at ease.

I fell in loveloveLOVE with this wall art that was just plainly out of my spending habits. Only because I knew I could make it.

So what turned into a mission at Goodwill for 2 frames to create the above 2 wall arts, turned into a successful venture.

Icky frames before they received love.

After staring at the “Love” art, I noticed that Pottery Barn used the typeface from the Snellen eye charts at the eye doctor! I couldn’t find  the official font, or a similar type face online. Thus, out came my protractor and mechanical pencil. I handdrew every angle and line on those letters. And a little spraypaint on the letters and frame didn’t hurt either.

Not too bad for being virtually free, right? After I figure out how to pop open this metal frame, I’ll show off the “<– Paris” one.
